Noctuidae is a tribute to unseen beauty.  It is an ode to the light seekers...those who spend their time here on earth looking for deeper meaning.  Like moths, we too are victims of the world we have created.  While they search for the true light of the moon, we are also searching ...for the truth. While they find it in the moon, we find it in our unconscious and our intuition.

Finished bust measurements: 33 1/4(37 3/4, 42 1/2, 47, 51 3/4)(55 3/4, 60 1/4, 65, 69 1/2) to fit Bust size: 25-28(28-32, 32-36, 36-41, 41-45)(45-49, 49-54, 54-59, 59-64) in with 6-10 in positive ease. See schematic for metric sizing.

MC: Skydance Fibers Ursa Minor in color Steamy Kitchen Window. Approx. 375 y/100 g: 1145, (1304, 1463, 1622, 1781)(1920, 2078, 2237) yards.  4(4, 4 5, 5)(6, 6, 6, 7) skeins.

CC1: Tukuwool Fingering in color Rae (04). Approx 200m220 yards/50g: 422(480, 540, 600, 656)(707, 765, 824, 882 yards. 2(3, 3, 3, 3)(4, 4 4, 4) skeins.

CC2: Spincycle Dyed in the Wool in color Noctuidae. Approx  200 yards/50 g:  125(141, 158, 175, 192)(207, 224, 242, 260) yards. 1(1, 1, 1, 1)(1, 2, 2, 2) skeins.

CC3: Optional second color of Tukuwool in color Anga(02)

1 skein.

Additional yarn is needed to knit the longer full chart sweater for some sizes: You will need an additional skein of Skydance for size 3, 5 and 8.  You  will need an additional skein of Tukuwool and DITW for size 5.

GAUGE

26 sts and 28 rounds over 4 in of color work after blocking and 24 sts and 32 rows over MC stockinette after blocking

Tools

Size 3.25 mm/3 US circular needles in 3 lengths appropriate for neck, cuffs and hem (see finished measurements).

Size 3.5 mm/4 US circular needles appropriate for increasing width from neck to shoulders to lower hem.

Darning needle for seaming sleeves and weaving in ends.

Stitch Markers: At least 5.
