Start your Spring with a new skill! Knitting is a perfectly portable craft
This is a beginner-level class for the brand new knitter (adults only, please). Class cost does not include materials - you will need to purchase yarn and needles. Students receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased for the class. You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you already have something on hand. Worsted weight yarn and size US 7, 8, or 9 (4.5, 5, or 5.5mm) needles are recommended.
The class size is limited to two students.
You will learn the basics of choosing yarn and needles; how to cast on your first stitches; how to knit and purl; how to fix common mistakes; and how to bind off. This class is primarily technique-focused rather than finished product-focused, but you will learn all the skills and tips you need to make a simple pair of fingerless mitts, a hat, or you can keep on knitting to make a scarf!

Beyla is a tribute to bees and all that they stand for: communication, dreaming big, healing energy, sexuality, fertility, sweetness, hard work, balance and feminine power.
Ixchel is inspired by the power of the moon and its cycle. This design is my tribute to the power of women and Nature, the phases of the moon and the phases of a woman’s life.
Free To Fly is about finding your voice, your joy, your dance, your flock. It’s about breaking out of whatever cage is holding you in, finding that cage and setting yourself free.
