Learn to Knit with Jessica Lebovits

This is a beginner-level class for the brand new knitter (adults only, please). Class cost does not include materials - you will need to purchase yarn and needles. Students receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased for the class. You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you already have something on hand. Worsted weight yarn and size US 7, 8, or 9 (4.5, 5, or 5.5mm) needles are recommended. 

The class size is limited to 8 students.

You will learn the basics of choosing yarn and needles; how to cast on your first stitches; how to knit and purl; how to fix common mistakes; and how to bind off. This class is primarily technique-focused rather than finished product-focused, but you will learn all the skills and tips you need to make a simple pair of fingerless mitts or you can keep on knitting to make a scarf!

Classes meet Tuesdays from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Cancellation/refund policy:  No refunds will be offered within 1 week of class.  Cancellations prior to one week before class are eligible for store credit.  Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee and your store credit will be the balance of your class fee.  Your credit is not eligible for refund.  Classes do not include individual Make-up sessions.  If your teacher has offered to schedule a make-up class and you have scheduled to be there and do not show up, then your make-up class is forfeited and will not be re-scheduled.  Visiting teachers' classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.  We run these classes based on enrollment...paying in advance for visiting teachers to travel and hold workshops and can not offer any credit for any reason.  Please be sure of your schedule before registering for any class.  Thank you!
