Learn to Knit!

This class is open to students 18 years and older. Class meets Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10am-1pm.

Come learn to knit with us! Students will learn the very basics of knitting to make fingerless mitts.

Materials for Beginning Knitting should be one skein of aran or chunky wool, preferably not single ply, preferably a solid and light color, US 10 needles, and a tapestry needle. Students get a 10% discount on all materials for the class. Please make sure to stop by the shop at least one day ahead of class to get your supplies. You can also place an online order and pick up your materials the morning of class.

Skills offered: knitted cast on, knit stitch, bind off, seaming, weaving in ends.

Cancellation/refund policy:  No refunds will be offered within 1 week of class.  Cancellations prior to one week before class are eligible for store credit.  Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee and your store credit will be the balance of your class fee.  Your credit is not eligible for refund.  Classes do not include individual Make-up sessions.  If your teacher has offered to schedule a make-up class and you have scheduled to be there and do not show up, then your make-up class is forfeited and will not be re-scheduled.  Visiting teachers' classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.  We run these classes based on enrollment...paying in advance for visiting teachers to travel and hold workshops and can not offer any credit for any reason.  Please be sure of your schedule before registering for any class.  Thank you!
