Intermediate Knitting with Jessica Lebovits

Are you ready to level up with your knitting skills?  Do you know all the basics, but don’t know how to fix your mistakes?  Is there a new cast-on you’ve been trying to learn? Or maybe you have questions about all those different increases and decreases, and how to know which one to use!  In this workshop, we will learn how to “read” our knit fabric; get more familiar with the language of knitting patterns; and make mistakes on purpose and then fix them!  This class will be an open-ended forum for advanced beginner to intermediate knitters, where students will have the opportunity to ask lots of questions and practice their new skills. Specific topics will be guided by what each student is looking to learn. Feel free to bring any works in progress that you are feeling stuck on, and we will see if we can get through it together!  If you have taken Jessica's Beginner Class and are looking to deepen your knowledge, this is the class for you!

Please note that this class is not a learn to knit class; students should already know the basics (knit, purl, casting on, binding off, basic increasing and decreasing), and should be comfortable with basic patterns and knitting terminology.  Additionally, we will not be able to go in-depth with more advanced techniques like stranded knitting, brioche, or lace patterns. 

Classes meet on Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm

Cancellation/refund policy:  No refunds will be offered within 1 week of class.  Cancellations prior to one week before class are eligible for store credit.  Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee and your store credit will be the balance of your class fee.  Your credit is not eligible for refund.  Classes do not include individual Make-up sessions.  If your teacher has offered to schedule a make-up class and you have scheduled to be there and do not show up, then your make-up class is forfeited and will not be re-scheduled.  Visiting teachers' classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.  We run these classes based on enrollment...paying in advance for visiting teachers to travel and hold workshops and can not offer any credit for any reason.  Please be sure of your schedule before registering for any class.  Thank you!
