Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Or are you a crafter who wants to make your own project bags? Come learn the basics of sewing in this beginner level three hour class, and walk away with a finished product! You will learn common fabric and sewing terminology, layout and cutting techniques, how to thread your sewing machine and wind a bobbin, make and finish a seam, different ways to finish raw fabric edges, topstitching, and pressing. In the end you'll have a cute little drawstring bag for projects, toiletries, art supplies, gifts, etc.Cost does not include materials, but we offer students a 10% discount on supplies purchased for the class.
