The Ogden Cami by True Bias Patterns is a simple shirt that can be a beautiful layering piece for all seasons and styles.
This beginner-level class will introduce fundamental sewing skills that you will use regularly in garment making. Some previous experience using a sewing machine is ideal but not required.
Class cost does not include materials, but students will receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased for the class. It is important that you select your fabric before the class so it can be pre-washed. You are also welcome to use fabric you have at home! You can find the pattern size chart and fabric requirements here.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Techniques you will learn:
- How to read sewing patterns
- Taking measurements and selecting your size
- Cutting and marking patterns
- Basic hemming
- Understitching
- Turning strap loops
Out of concern for safety, class size will be limited to 2 students from the same household.
Class instructor will wear a clean face mask and face shield. Face masks will be required for all students. We will sanitize all workshop tools and sewing machines properly before use.
